This Labor Day weekend, the top poker players will be doing more than just barbecuing a steak or two; they'll most likely be heading down to the Palms Casino Resort to vie for a spot at POKER: Quest of Champions. The one hundred players featured at the September 4th event will be divided into ten shoot-out tables of ten.

The winner of each table will then advance to the Quest of Champions final event, slated for the week of New Year's. The winner of the final event will take home the largest single prize in the history of tournament poker- $15 million dollars. With its record-breaking top prize, Quest of Champions is attracting some of pro poker's biggest names, including Ted Forrest, Kathy Leibert, Layne Flack, Barry Greenstein, Men The Master Nguyen, Freddy Deeb, Thor Hansen, Joe Awada, Antonio Esfandiari, and Rene Angeli.

The event has also attracted the attention of celebrity online poker players such as James Woods, Michael Vartan, and Mimi Rogers. POKER: Quest of Champions kicks off September 4, 2005 at 1 pm.
